• Never knew Jesus as a man but authored a third of the New Testament
• Letters became the first books of the New Testament before the Gospels...he may never have read a Gospel!
• Proclaimed himself an Apostle...An eye witness to Christ... and preached the Word throughout the known world.

His letters discuss how to live as followers of Christ in the midst of opposition, suffering, and persecution…..much as we live today!
