Boy Scouts

A Boy Scout trop is sponsored by Holy Rosary which boys age 12 through 18, 11 1/2 if transferring out of the Cub Scouts. This unit follows current principles and practices of the Boy Scouts of America. The troop offers camping hiking, skiing, canoeing and many other activities. Scouting stresses character development, citizenship, service and adventure.

Brownie Scouts

A Brownie Scout troop is sponsored by Holy Rosary which accepts girls from grades 1, 2, and 3. This unit follows current principles and practices of the Girl Scouts of America. The troop meets after school and participates in age appropriate activities. The Brownies also sell Girl Scout cookies for their fund raiser. A Daisy program is available for girls of kindergarten age.

Cub Scouts

A Cub Scouting program is offered to boys from 1st through 5th grades. This is a parent based troop sponsored by Holy Rosary. There are five to ten boys to a pack and approximately five packs to a den. The Cub Scouts promote academics, athleticism, religion and citizenship through activities geared toward the youth. This unit follows current principles and practices of the Boy Scouts of America.

Girl Scouts

The 4th, 5th, and 6th grade girls fo Holy Rosary are offered a role in the Girl Scouts of America through a troop sponsored by Trinity United Methodist Church. The unit follows current principles and practices of the Girl Scouts of Amarecia. Scouting stresses character development, citizenship, service and adventure. This troop meets in the early evening. Girl Scout Cookies are sold as a fundraiser.

Idaho Catholic Seminarian Fund

This ministry was incorporated because of concern about the church's ability to fund the training and nurturing of candidates for the priesthood in the Diocese of Boise. The fund's goal is to provide a sustained source of funding for seminary students. The fund is accumulating the money needed to star providing at least $1,000 annually from its earnings for needy seminarians. It is incorporated under the laws of the State of Idaho as a non-profit charitable and is declared by the IRS to be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.

Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal service organization open to men actively living their Catholic faith. The minimum age to join is 18. The main directorates of the council include: church, family, youth, community and council. This ministry develops many opportunities for the men of the council to contribute theiir time and talents to the stewardship of our community. Many of the activities are family based and thus provide children wonderful opportunities for steardhsip. Projects are varied with participation in the following: rummage sale, soup kitchen, golf tournament, international dinner, Arch highway clean-up, support for seminarian to name a few. These councils are always in need of men interested in being actively involved in the work of Christ.
